Julianne M. "Julie" Brunner, of Linwood, MI passed away early Thursday morning December 15, 2011 at her residence with her loving family at her side. Age 69 years. She was born August 15, 1942 in Bay City and has resided in this area all of her life. In 1960 she graduated from T.L. Handy High School and was employed at Bangor-Monitor Water District as the office manager. She was a former member of the Humane Society of Bay County and had been active with the John Glenn Booster Club, an avid MSU Fan and most of all she enjoyed gardening , working in her yard and spending time with her family. Julie is survived by three children and their spouses; Jodi and Doug Katzer, Todd and Shannon Brunner and Roy and Sherry Ebel, three grandchildren that she thought the world of; Krystal Katzer, Sam Brunner and Kenny Ebel, her extended family; David and Sue Milbourne and their children; Megan and Katie, Thomas and Colleen Pake and their children; Annabelle and Roxanne, one brother; James Donohue, her brothers-in-law; Roy and Bonnie Ebel, Jerry and Peg Brunner, Sue Brunner, Charlie and Judy Brunner, Dick and Bina Ebel and Christine and Ron Mielens, her cousin; Natalie Fair and her children; Chip and Kathy Fair, Terry Reynolds, Bob and Kathy Adair and Matt Fair, her special friends; Russ and Lois Marvin and Gene and Kerry Driscoll and their families and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth V. Brunner on March 30, 2006, her aunt that raised her as her own; Irma Fair, a cousin; Sam Fair, father-in-law; Victor Ebel, mother-in-law and step father-in-law; Lucille and Alex Ebel and two brothers-in-law; Pete and Lyle Brunner. To Bonnie: Thank you for being with me and my family every step of the way through my illness. We don't know what we would have done without you...... Love Julie. A Memorial Service will take place Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. John W. Wernecke with private inurnment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home for a memorial to be established in Memory of Julie at a later date.
