Julie Ann Atkins

Julie took the hand of Jesus on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family at the age of 37. Julie was born September 13, 1983 in Saginaw, Michigan and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed music, boat rides, eating and her hammock.
Julie is survived by her father, William (Linda) A. Atkins; mother, Catherine Sue Beagle; aunts and uncles, Michael R. Beagle, Peggy A. (Beagle) Rick Fork, Carol J. (Beagle) West, Patricia K. (Murphy) Reynolds, Gloria (Grosse) Murphy, Wendy J. (Atkins) Bocian, Norton B. Atkins, Jr., Wendy A. (Atkins) Rick Fresorger Sr., John C. Atkins, Mary B. (Atkins-Smith) Brad Hubbell; best friend, Sarah Rohloff and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norton B. and Margaret M. (Geyer) Atkins, Martha M. (Daeschlein) and Cy Beagle; uncles, Frederick J. Murphy, Ronald Bocian Sr. and Brent R. Smith; cousin, Colt A. Atkins; six brothers and sisters. A special thanks to Carol, Bob Rolhoff and Sarah for all of their help with Julie and for the compassion and care of Dr. Chaiyakarn Soothakotoke.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Matt Hall. Visitation will take place on Monday at the funeral home from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for the wishes of the family for a memorial to be established at a later date will be available. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 65 visitors in the chapel at one time.
