June M. Gary

June passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Close To Home Assisted Living at the age of 87 years. June was born in Bay City on January 16, 1934 to the late Earhart and Helen Witzgall. She married William Gary on October 3, 1952 and he passed away in 1984. June was the last charter member at People's Baptist Church where she served the Lord with great passion. She enjoyed gardening, soul winning, camping, painting and spending time with her family.
June is survived by her brothers, Gary (Yvonne) Witzgall and Wayne (Doris) Witzgall; sister, Caroline (Jim) Dean; son, Chris (Connie) Gary; daughter-in-law, Anne Gary; grandsons, Shane (Corey) Gary, Adam (Mackenzie) Gary and Tim (Kristina) Gary; niece, Paula (Joseph) Burgess; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Hannah, Aubrey, Leah and Kaitlynn and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Salvester) Wagner and son, Kevin Gary.
Funeral and committal service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Peoples Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Daniel R. Hester with private interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Gary will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Per the governor's orders face masks must be worn at all times and a 25 people at a time in the chapel restriction is in place. You may experience a wait time to enter the chapel at the funeral home.
