Karen L. Gougler

Karen passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 71. The daughter of the late Joseph and Leona (Kromrie) Farris was born May 27, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Karen enjoyed traveling around the country with her husband in his semi-truck, crocheting, reading, animals, especially wolves and moose, drawing and Native American culture.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Janet (Aaron) Henninger; two grandchildren, Alex Henninger and Shelby Henninger; three siblings, Joseph Farris, Michael Farris and Diana Nordstrom. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Dale” Gougler; sister, Barbara Wardwell and her brother, Lester Farris.

A private interment will take place at a later date next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
