Karl Alan Reinhardt

Karl passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland at the age of 71. He was born on October 12, 1954 to the late Glenn and Delores (Behmlander) Reinhardt in Bay City, Michigan. He was a proud United States Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, camping, and spending time in nature. He was caring, loving, and always willing to help others. His family meant everything to him.

Karl is survived by his wife, Jan (Muncey) Reinhardt, whom he married on March 18, 1978 and they spent 47 wonderful years together. He is also survived by his children, Michael (Meranda) Reinhardt, Crystal Reinhardt and Jennifer Genge; grandchildren, Melissa Babcock, Michael Reinhardt, Sarah Reinhardt, Alicia Genge, Daniel Manary, Kenny Manary, Emily Manary, Kaitlynne Genge, Josh Genge, Myles Heathcock, Memphis Reinhardt and Montana Reinhardt; great grandchildren, Keygan, Khloe, Kaily, Mallory, Harley and Brooklyn; siblings, Dave (Patti) Reinhardt, Delores (Wink) Tacey and Ken (Nancy) Reinhardt; close friends, Greg Licht, Floyd Genge, Brian Shorkey (Scorp) and Ron Cook (Hillbilly); many nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike (Linda) Reinhardt and brother-in-law, Doug Tacey.

Memorial service for Karl will take place on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dusty Ballard. The family will be present to receive visitors on Monday at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the family.
