Katherine Ann Martin

Katherine passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida at the age of 81. The daughter of the late Clarence and Kate (Laberge) Oswald was born April 26, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan. Katherine retired from the Bay County Juvenile Home as a youth development worker. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and dancing like no one was watching. Katherine was an independent person who always had a sense of adventure.

Katherine is survived by her five children, Brian (Paulet) Martin, Cynthia Martin, Partick (Katie) Martin, Lisa Martin and Rebecca Martin (Michael Watson); twelve grandchildren, Mellisa, Mariah (Shawn), Joey, Hunter, Lillian, Daisy, Nolan, Violet, Jaden (Jordan), Danny, Fayth and Odin and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Martin.

Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Jane Gregorczyk. Visitation will take place on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of Flowers memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
