Kenneth Peter Bowen Sr.

Kenneth passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born to the late Francis and Mildred (Jacobs) Bowen on May 8, 1941 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and worked at GM for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cribbage and riding his bike.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 57 years, Olive (Oberg) Bowen; children, Vickie (Tom) Jaskiewicz, Kenny Bowen Jr. and John Bowen (Jinkee Javier and her daughter Aria); grandchildren, Amelia (Luke) Stricker and Spencer Jaskiewicz (Joshua Preister); siblings, Mickey Rosebush, Jane (Steve) Pawlak, Donna (Bob) Lang, Sue (Jack) Shetler and Paul Bowen; brother-in-law, Jerry Feinauer; sister-in-law, Marsha Bowen and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Fran "Bo" Bowen, Pete Bowen, Tom Bowen, Ed Bowen and Bev Feinauer; brother-in-law, Chuck Rosebush and Sister-in-law, Helene Byrne.
A Memorial mass will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Patrick J. O'Connor. The family will be present to receive visitors on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish.
