Kenneth L. "Ken" Moore

Ken passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Brian's House, at the age of 80. The son of the late Elda and Leona (Debo) Moore was born December 16, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan. Ken was a long time member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church and was an active usher, and a current member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish. He was a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Food pantry.  Ken retired in 1995 from G.M. Powertrain-Bay City Plant, and was a member of Local #362. He was an avid golfer and spent countless hours on the Bay County golf course with the group called the Southenders., enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren playing cards and loved his great grandchildren.  Ken was an avid Detroit Lions and University of Michigan Football fan and enjoyed trips to the casino. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce from 1961 to 1965 in Texas and Spain 3973rd CDS.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years the former Joann M. Wolicki whom he married October 20, 1962, one son, Michael (Kim) Moore; one daughter, Kristen (Guy) Lore; grandchildren who lovingly called him PaPa, Christopher (his fiance, Megan) Moore, Zach (Logan) Moore, Katie, Alex and Kelly Lore; great grandchildren, Cooper and Marlee Moore; two sisters, Patricia (Glen) Walmsley and Marilyn "Kay" (Ed) Sprauge. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gerald, Don, Gary and Ron Moore.
Private Military Honors and Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Private burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.
