Kenneth James Spiker "Kenny"

Kenny passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the age of 72. He was born on December 1, 1949 to the late William and Daisy (Richardson) Spiker in Bay City, Michigan. He retired from Bay Medical Care Facility and was a very active member of the Kawkawlin Community Church. Kenny enjoyed playing pool, going bowling and watching baseball. He loved going to the casino and playing cards, he was one of the luckiest guys out there. One of his favorite pastimes was attending his grandchildren's events, he was a very supportive grandparent and absolutely loved watching them. He was also a big fan of all Michigan Sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and U of M.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 16 years, Anne (Brady) Spiker, whom he married on September 1, 2005. He is also survived by his step children, Katherine (Kevin) Burton, Patty (Mark) Smerdon, Earl (Tricia) McLean and Debra (Jim) Pretzer; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Roy (Elaine) Spiker, Gene (Marge) Spiker, Gary (Carol) Spiker, Ricky (Kimberly) Spiker, Marchlene (Gary) Franklin and Nancy Spiker; sister-in-law's, Darlene Spiker, Diane (Keith) Nelson, Kathleen Lynch, Rose Devericks, Sheila Brady and Ellen Moreno; brother-in-law, John Brady; special nephews, Brian and Nick Bullock and many other nieces and nephews; godchildren, James Spiker and Holly Richards. He is also survived by Marion Watson who was always like a mother and special card partner. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his special nephew, Jason Bullock; siblings, Lucille (Curtis) Bullock, Raymond Spiker, Mary Margret Spiker and William Spiker; brother-in-law's, James Brady, Mike Brady, Mike Lynch and Luther Devericks.
Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home with a private interment at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Military Honors will be taking place before the service. Officiating will be Pastor Aaron Knapp. The family will be present on Friday to receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
