Kirk R. LaRoche

Kirk passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Close To Home Assisted Living at the age of 59 years. He was born in Bay City on November 13, 1961 to the late Robert and Donna (Hicks) LaRoche. Kirk graduated from Bay City Central in 1979 and went on to attend Northern Michigan University. On June 23, 1984 he married the former Linda Gibas at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and they were married for 36 years.
Kirk is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Katie and Tyler LaRoche; brothers, William (Gayle) LaRoche and Mark LaRoche; nieces and nephews, Carrie (John) Sinay, Alicia LaRoche, Melissa LaRoche, Jeremy (Kristin) LaRoche, Craig (Hollie) LaRoche, Alyssa Gibas and Amy Gibas; eleven great nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Barbara Gibas; brothers-in-law, David (Connie) Gibas and Roger Gibas.
Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Contributions may be made to wishes of the family.
