Larry Lee Benjamin

Larry passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, June 9, 2025 at McLaren Flint Hospital at the age of 76. He was born to the late Bruce and Carol (Travis) Benjamin on October 17, 1948 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was a huge history buff and loved learning about anything Military related. He used to take his children around to many different Military Museums when they were younger. He loved sitting on the dock, watching the big ships go by. Larry enjoyed listening to music and even dabbled with DJing. He liked riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Sober Riders Motorcycle Club and was sober for over 30 years.

Larry is survived by his children, Caroline (James) Tomlinson, Adam (Benjamin) Victor and David Benjamin; grandchildren, Darcey (Kurtis) King, Alexander Benjamin, Alexandrea Fritz and Jacob Benjamin; great grandchildren, Madison, Peyton, Mason, Madison, Eijah and Oliver; his favorite niece, Lynda (Benjamin) Dutton and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Benjamin; mother of his children, Kathy Benjamin; granddaughter, Carole Anne Benjamin and brother, Arthur Benjamin.

In honoring the wishes of Larry, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Mission 22 for Veterans suicide prevention.
