Larry Patrick Peterson Sr.

Larry passed away on March 1, 2023 from covid complications with his family by his side at the age of 69. Larry was born on January 23, 1954 in Bay City to the late Lawrence and Helen (Donnelly) Peterson. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, motor cross racing and traveling with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Virginia (Lauria) Peterson; son, Larry Pat (Lisa) Peterson Jr.; daughter, Misty Peterson (Brian Bork); grandchildren, Cali, Cambree, Kaden, Hadley, Calob and Abner; brothers, Danny (Kitti) Peterson and Kim (Lori) Peterson and his in-laws, William Charbonneau, Sandra Lauria and Mike Janiske, Mary and Dale Ball, John and Kellie Lauria, Diane Lauria, Cindy Blum and Jeff Curry, Dan Bothe and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Peterson, sister, Shelly Charbonneau and sister-in-law, Karen Bothe.

Memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell. Larry’s family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In memory of Larry, please wear attire related to those sports he admired.
