Our loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 unexpectedly in Bay City, Michigan.  Age 20 years.  She was born February 7, 1996 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life.  She attended Bay Arenac Community High School, had a great passion for art, drawing, designing and had a very creative way of thinking.  She enjoyed dancing, singing, reading, philosophy, reading Greek mythology, baking, putting on her make-up and most of all she enjoyed a good conversation.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her mother and step-father; Patricia and Ken Biskner of Bay City, her father; Kirk Gilyard of Saginaw, her brothers and sisters; Lauren  Biskner,  Lazarus Biskner, Leigha Biskner and Andrew Biskner,  Chey and Cassandra Ross, Dominique Gilyard, J.J. Gilyard and her grandparents, Christina Thorne, Mark and Linda Humphrey, Luttie "Lula" and Percy Gilyard, great grandmother; Betty Humphrey, her aunts and uncles; Crystal Thorne, Tiffany Thorne, Alexander Thorne, Mark and Heather Humphrey, Linda Thorne, Terry Thorne, Lisa and Travis Stumpfig, Renee Gilyard, Carla Gilyard, Tanita Gilyard and William (Whitney) Frierson, great aunts and uncles; Steve Humphrey, Kelly and Tom Wilber,  Scott Shaver, John (Karen) Shaver, Bonnie Hanover, Cheryl and Jim Woods, Bill Young and Renee Sweebe, many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather; Robert Thorne, great grandfather; James "Bo" Humphrey, her uncle; Victor Young and her aunt, Patty Thorne.
Funeral and Committal Service will take place Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Peoples Baptist Church, 701 W. Midland Street, Bay City, Michigan.  Officiating will be Pastor Daniel R. Hester.  The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services to receive visitors on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at Peoples Baptist Church on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family" will be available at the funeral home.
