Lauretta M. Goss

Lauretta Goss passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living with her family by her side at the age of 86. She was born January 11, 1937 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Theodore and Ethelind (Earls) Scheddel. Lauretta enjoyed boating, swimming, being in the sun, traveling to Hawaii, knitting, singing, playing Euchre and spending time with her family.

Lauretta is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene Goss; children, Mark (Karen) Goss, Bruce (Kathy) Goss, Steve Goss, and Laurie King (Goss); grandchildren, Kari Kosemba Brian Goss, Jordan Goss, Jonathan Goss, Aubree Smith (Goss), and Leslie Lewis; great grandchildren, Austin, Nadia, Daniel, Nora, Russell, Cohen, Isla and Sienna; one great great grandson, Andrew Filcek; and grand dog, Frankie. In addition to her parents, Lauretta is preceded in death by her grandson, Landen Lewis; and siblings, Richard Scheddel, Thomas Scheddel and Mary Ellen Cochran (Scheddel).

At the request of Lauretta, Cremation has taken place and a Eulogy will take place at 2:00 p.m. following with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Gephart Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
