Lawrence "Larry" John Reid

Lawrence "Larry" John Reid 82 of Bay City, Michigan, passed away June 2, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region. He was born to the late John and Marian Reid, Later Mrs. Marian Schuster, On October 27, 1938 in Bangor Township.
Lawrence was the beloved husband of Raquel; and father of Marian Kelly Reid of Bay City, Mark (Terri) Reid, MSGT, USAF, Ret., Colorado Springs, CO, Laura (Tim) English, Washington State, Tulin (Kerim) Emre, Huntington Beach, CA, Ralph Dagza, TSGT, USAF, and has five grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Leonard (Judy), Menominee, MI and Brian (Inger), San Diego, CA.
Lawrence is a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and graduate of St. John's Lutheran School in 1952, and T.L Handy High in 1956. After proudly serving and reaching the rank of SGT in the U.S. Marine Corps, he spent more than 40 years in the airlines, tour and travel industries in the U.S. and abroad, based mainly in California and Turkey. He along with his wife and daughter Marian resettled in Bay City in 2006.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Sandra, Alli, McLaren Nurses and the other staff at the ICU.
Funeral Service will be held at Messiah Lutheran church at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Officiating will be Pastor Andreas Teich. Visitation will take place at Messiah Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial with Military Honors will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
