Lawrence Manczak

Lawrence passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Bellaire Senior Living at the age of 73. The son of the late Leonard and Marianne (Schadler) Manczak was born May 27, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. Lawrence was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and was retired from G.M. Powertrain after 35 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, his cat of 18 years, Abby, going on cruises, going out to eat, hunting, fishing, camping and road trips across the U.S. with his family.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Jane Manczak, whom he married on April 19, 1975; three children, Nathan (Regina) Manczak, Neil (Melissa) Manczak and Naryn (Adam) Jankowiak; nine grandchildren, Emery, Ellie and Evan Manczak, Layla, Luke and Lyle Manczak and Cole, Cassidy and Camryn Jankowiak; one sister, Johanna (Joseph) Welter; two sisters-in-law, Jill (Rick) Rasmer and Janet (Mark) Wakeman; two brothers-in-law, Jeff (Pam) Herman and Jon (Kelly) Herman and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, James and Judy Herman and mother and father-in-law, Don and Rita Herman

Memorial Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Corpus Christi Parish. Visitation will take place at the church on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
