Lawrence C. Pintoski, Bay City, Michigan. Our loving husband, father and grandfather went home to be with his Lord early Thursday afternoon July 3, 2014 at McLaren Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 79 years. The son of the late Lawrence and Martha (Miller) Pintoski was born November 12, 1934 in Bay City and has resided all of his life. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and attended St. Hedwig Catholic Church for many years. Larry was the founder of L.C. Pintoski General Contracting Co. where he built and remodeled many businesses and residential homes in our community. In his is free time he enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, wintering in Florida with his wife, spending time at his cottage at Sugar Springs in Gladwin, dancing, listening to music and a favorite polka. Most of all he loved the time he spent with his family, his dogs and just being a kid. Mr. Pintoski is survived by his wife of sixty years the former Charmaine M. Fleece whom he married on February 27, 1954 in St. Michaels Catholic Church in Pinconning. He is also survived by three loving daughters and two sons-in-law; Pamela S. Bragiel of Elwell, MI, Terri L. and James Glaza of Ft. Wayne, IN and Kelly A. and Alan Hamme of Linwood, six grandchildren; Jennifer Bragiel, Jeremy and Jennifer Bragiel, Crystal and Tony Koehl, Keriann and Jason VanDenboom, Tyler and Tommi Hamme and Kayleen Hamme, three great grandchildren; Austin Koehl, Trenten Culberson and Eastin VanDenboom, two sisters, one brother, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; sister Dolores and Arthur Coon; Mr. Pintoski's twin sister Lorraine and Leonard Kelly, one brother Leonard Pintoski, Andrew Holevar, Arlene Pintoski, Joyce and Jerry Mitchell, Barbara and William Misener and Laurence and Mary Flies, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, brothers and their spouses; Leona and John Dudek, Harriet and Lawrence Suszek, Theresa and Joe Grabowski, Virginia and Henry Stokes, Dorothy Holevar, Edward Pintoski, Stanley Pintoski and Wanda Pintoski. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish (St. Hedwig Campus) 601 W. Pearl St, Bay City, MI 48706. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Kevin N. Kerbawy with the Rite of Committal following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Vigil for the deceased will take place Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Pintoski will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
