Leo P. Burns Jr.

Leo passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 with his family by his side at the age of 80. He was born November 6, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Leo and Dorothy (Chalmers) Burns. Leo enjoyed building, woodworking, maintaining his yard, playing bingo, going to the casino, telling stories, going on car trips with his wife, Dell, listening to Elvis, celebrating Christmas, drinking Jack Daniel’s and loved spending time with his family.

Leo is survived by his wife, Dell (Fulco) Burns; daughter, Laura; step-daughter, Bethan; step-son, Dave; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; siblings, Kathy, Kip, Eddy, Dottie, Margaret, Kelly and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Leo is preceded in death by his siblings, Julie, Betty, Floyd, LeAnn and Rosalee.

At the request of Leo, Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Gephart Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wishes of the family.
