LeRoy W. Hoerauf

Through faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ, LeRoy Hoerauf entered his eternal home in heaven on August 5, 2018 at the age of 89 years, 11 months. The son of the late Walter M. and Vera K. (Reichard) Hoerauf was born September 2, 1928 in Bay City, Michigan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Melba (Appold) Hoerauf. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. LeRoy retired from Dow Chemical in Midland after working there for many years as a pipefitter.
Left to cherish LeRoy's memory are: his son, Dennis (Karen) Hoerauf; daughter Michelle (Glen) Beesley; his grandchildren, Mathew (Celina) Hoerauf; Alan (Theresa) Beesley; Melissa Beesley; Anna Szymanski; and Kevin (Jessica) Beesley; six great grandchildren; sisters Doris (Gerald) Appold; Shirley (Ronald) Ziegler; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis W. Matyas with private interment in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. Mr. Hoerauf will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
