Mr. Lester M. "Les" Reinhardt, of Bay City, passed away on Wedneday, May 11, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region, age 78. The son of the late Clarence "Tiny" and Helen (Satkowiak) Reinhardt, he was born on March 15, 1938 in Kawkawlin. Les graduated from St. Stanislaus Kostka High School, Class of 1956, and also the Northeastern School of Commerce. He was retired from Monitor Sugar Co. after 31 years of service. Les was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and was a former member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church where he was very active. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus St. Stephens Council #4102 for 45 years, the Moose Lodge #169 and has volunteered at Covenant Healthcare for the last 15 years. Most of all Les cherished spending time with his beloved wife and granddaughters. On October 22, 1966 Les married the former Mary Ann Tomczak in Holy Trinity Catholic Church and she survives his passing along with their three children, Sheri Trombley (Robert Owens), Steve (Jennifer) Reinhardt and Janice (Michael) Martin, all of Bay City; his grandchildren, Marrissa Trombley, Olivia Trombley, Leah Martin and Faith Reinhardt; his nephews, Joe Luczak and Mike (Carey) Luczak; and his niece, Colleen Kelly. Besides his parents, Les was also preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Reinhardt; his sister, Noreen (Thomas) Luczak; and his father and mother-in-law, Edward and Geraldine Tomczak. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Emmett Marceau with the Rite of Committal following at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Parish Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Parish, the wishes of the family or to McLaren Hospice.
