Lilith Waverley Easton

Our little angel, Lilith Waverley Easton, earned her wings on September 12th, 2021. Though her time with us was short, she made a forever-lasting impression on our hearts.
Lilith was born August 23rd, 2021 at the U of M Hospital with a Congenital Heart Defect called Pulmonary Atresia. She did not allow this defect to slow her down. Lilith was determined to showcase her strength and personality in those 20 days.
Lilith picked her head up to look her momma in her eyes for the very first time shortly after being born. When holding momma and daddy's hands she would pull them in closer for extra snuggles. She made many faces throughout each day by raising her eyebrows and wrinkling her little forehead, even when sleeping and hearing her momma's voice. Lilith even mastered the look of mean mugging.
Lilith sure had a lot of sass for being so little. However, sass was not the only thing she was insistent on showing off. Lilith made sure she was heard when it was time to eat or have her diaper changed. Nurses said Lilith was the loudest baby in the bay.
Being the loudest is something Lilith got from her momma, as well as her love for Nightmare Before Christmas. Whenever her momma would turn it on Lilith would turn her head so she could watch too.
Lilith quickly became daddy's little girl on day one! Just holding her daddy's hand was enough to calm her and make her feel safe. Lilith knows how deeply her momma and daddy love and miss her. She made sure to give them a lifetime of love during her short time on earth.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.
An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby's birth, and whispered as she closed the book, "Too beautiful for Earth"
