Lillian Mae Rupp (Rasch)

Lillian passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Bay City Comfort Care at the age of 93 years. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 27, 1928 to the late Joseph and Mildred (Horn) Wilson. She married H. Edward Rasch and he passed away 34 years ago. She then married Charles Rupp and he also preceded her in death. Lillian was a member of the Eastern Stars and was also the owner/operator of the Star Tavern "Diamond Lil's" in Unionville, Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and sewing. Lillian was a hard worker and many enjoyed her great sense of humor.
Lillian is survived by her son, Russell Rasch; daughter, Kathern "Cookie" Dorsch; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and sister, Sharon Welch. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Ralph and Larry Rasch; three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with cremation to take place following the service. Friends and family may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
