Linda Susan (Kellermann) Davis

Linda passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the age of 58 of complications from cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan K. Kellermann; father, Douglas M. Kellermann and her brothers, Daniel W. Kellermann and David B. Kellermann. Linda is survived by her daughter, Heather M. Davis; brother, Douglas L. (Cathy) Kellermann; sister-in-law, Donna Kellermann; one niece, Grace Kellermann, cousins including Janet Schmidt, many dear friends, co-workers as well as her beloved dog, Lucy.

Linda graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1977. Linda earned various nursing degrees through a number of institutions. Linda was a RN and spent her entire career at McLaren Bay Region Hospital (Formerly Bay Medical Center) in Bay City. She served the hospital in a very wide variety of nursing, union and management roles, most recently as nurse manager of 6Th floor orthopedics and neurology. Linda's many professional accomplishments were formally recognized in 2011 when she received the Orlen J. Johnson MD, Excellence in Health Care Employee Award from the Bay Medical Foundation. Linda loved to cook, often creating a copious variety of food for her staff, a charity or fund raising event during an overnight frenzy.

At the request of Linda cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy in Linda's honor are encouraged to make a charitable donation to Bay County Animal Shelter and Care Center or the Relay for Life of Bay County.
