Linda A. Meyer

Linda passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 82, surrounded by family at UP Health System, Marquette. She was born on April 30, 1941 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Bernie and Nettie (Windler) Bretzloff. Linda was a Wife, Mother & Grandmother who loved nothing more than being with her family. Linda was a very devoted lifelong member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, especially orioles, and feeding the neighborhood squirrels. Linda had a great love for all animals.
In her professional life, Linda was an RN at Bay Medical, in Obstetrics. She found enjoyment in assisting with the birth of numerous children. Her greatest joy was being the RN assisting with the birth of her Grandson Ryan. Linda also fondly remembered the many friendships she shared with co-workers.
Linda is survived by her son, Steve (Laura) Meyer; daughter, Diane (Dennis) Stachowiak; grandchildren, Ryan Meyer, Benjamin Meyer, Theodore Stachowiak and Hannah (her special friend, Calen Dellemann) Stachowiak. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Theodore.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Joel Pankow with private interment at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.
