Lloyd M. Rivette "Mike"

Mike passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the age of 72. He was born on June 30, 1949 to the late Lloyd Rivette and Geraldine (Harrison) Swantek in Bay City, Michigan. Mike was a US Navy veteran and served his country in the Vietnam war. For most of his life he worked for GM as a Millwright. He was a Christian. He was a very avid golfer, pool enthusiast, loved his many Harleys and also loved his show dogs. Mike also enjoyed spending time with his many friends, Zach, John and Becky.
Mike is survived by his wife, Carol J. Rivette; daughter, Jennifer R. Rivette; son, Michael W. Rivette; grandchildren, Brittany (Clarence) Allersma, Joshua (Mary) Parker, Kaitlynn (Robert) Parker, Steven Rivette-Cantin, Katana Rivette-Cantin and many great grandchildren.
In honoring the request of Mike, cremation has taken place and memorial service is being planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice or to the Wishes of the Family.
