Lois passed away early Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013 at the Toni and Trish House with her family by her side. She was born November 19, 1938 in Bay City, Michigan. Lois was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the choir, women's association and served as a Deacon. Lois sang with Sweet Adeline's and was a member of the Junior Women's Association. She was formerly employed at Farm Bureau Insurance in Midland and Hagen Ford in Bay City. Lois had a great love for music, enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking. Lois is survived by her husband Russel A. Marvin whom she married November 23, 1957. Also surviving are two daughters and two sons-in-law; Patti and Dale Wesenick of Midland and Ellen and Michael Lesniak of Kawkawlin, one daughter-in-law; Janelle Marvin of Bay City, she was blessed with seven grandchildren; Jacob Lesniak, Michael and Shanél Lesniak, Amanda, Matthew, Alexandra, Megan and Mitchell Marvin, one brother and sister-in-law; Gordon and Eileen Lange, one sister and brother-in-law; Carol and Joseph Katsarelas, one brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Bill and Lori Marvin, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Rudolph and Helen (Moulton) Lange, her son; Russell A. Marvin on October 1, 2010, her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Clifford and Sadie Marvin, special family friends; Ken and Julie Brunner. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet family and friends at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Lois will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
