Loretta A. Malowinski

Loretta passed away at Clover Cottage Assisted Living in Midland. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Isadore and Eleanor (Wopinski) Bonkowski was born June 14, 1928 in Mt. Forest Twp. Michigan. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Hyacinth Church and it's Rosary Society. Loretta retired from the Prestolite Corporation. Left behind to cherish her memories are her two sisters, Monica Bills; Martha Deweese and her husband, John; one brother,Norbert Bonkowski; her brother-in-law, Leonard Tyslenko; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Malowinski; two sisters, Elizabeth Ratkos and Dorothy Tyslenko, two brothers, Carl and David Bonkowski The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish-St. Hyacinth Church 1515 Cass Ave., Bay City, MI 48708. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Richard M. Filary with the Rite of Committal following in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. Loretta will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
