Lori J. Pudvan

Lori (Kiesel) Pudvan was born on August 21, 1962, to Richard and Priscilla Kiesel. A devoted wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, and friend, Lori was a light in this world, and her family is heartbroken by the loss of her loving presence.

Lori’s whole world revolved around her husband of 43 wonderful years, Rickey L. Pudvan Sr., her children, and her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nana.” Her love was fierce, unconditional, and constant. She loved her family deeply, cherished her friends, and adored her pets. To know Lori was to feel cared for. Her dream of having a cabin on the lake she grew up on was made a reality and she passed her love of Little Bear Lake onto every one of her children and grandchildren who got to enjoy so many amazing memories.

Her greatest blessings were her children: Rickey (Amanda) Pudvan, Cassi (Jeremy) Wertz, Nicole (Shawn) Young, Amber (Nick) DiVita, and her godson who was like her own Christopher (Tamra) Obermiller. Her joy multiplied with her ten grandchildren—her “babies”—Mason Blair, McKenna Blair, Preston Pudvan, Chase Young, Jameson Blair, Savanna Pudvan, Macy Young, Maverick Pudvan, Liam Pudvan, and Caiden DiVita, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Lori is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Rickey Pudvan; her parents, Richard and Priscilla Kiesel; and her siblings, Dick (Janet) Kiesel, Mike (Debbie) Kiesel, and her “little sis,” Kathy Obermiller. Sister-in-laws Karen (Pat) Ricard, Peggy (Greg) Kimbrue, Janeen (Barney) Prime. Brother-in-law’s Ronald (Pam) Pudvan, Randy Pudvan, Jim (significant other, Peggy) Pudvan. Many nieces and nephews and friends she called family.

Greeting her at heaven’s gate is her grandparents Dale and Irene Young, mother-in-law and father-in -law Bernard and Joann Pudvan, and sister-in-law Cindy Pudvan. In Lori’s memory, just as she would want, throw on some AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp, or Rod Stewart—play the air guitar and have a beer. Her family will forever cherish the incredible memories shared with the greatest mother and nana. Her children promise to always play the “good music” for her. She will never be forgotten. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Compassus Hospice for the wonderful care and support provided to Lori and her family.

At Lori’s request cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will take place on Thursday July 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Wishes of the Family (Checks to me made her husband, Rickey Pudvan) and will be donated in the future to Primary Progressive Aphasia Research.
