Louis A. "Chip" Kiesel Jr.

Louis passed into eternal salvation on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Toni and Trish house at the age of 74. The son of the late Louis Sr. and Eleanore (Witkowski) Kiesel was born August 28, 1951 in Bay City, Michigan. Louis was retired from A&M Church Supply and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 414. He was an avid golfer, lover of the outdoors, music enthusiast and die-hard Detroit and U of M sports fan. Louis was a truly great friend to many and wouldn’t hesitate to be there for those he was close to. Louis’ infectious smile would light up any room and his quirky sense of humor could make anybody erupt in laughter. Above all he was a very proud and involved father and grandfather. Louis touched many people and will truly be missed.

Louis is survived by his two children, Alexandra (Robert) Anderson and Louis A. Kiesel III and his significant other, Cynthia Grigorian; two grandchildren, Michael Anderson and Jayce Anderson and his siblings, Cole (Kim) Kiesel, Rebecca (Dale) Young and Jean (John) Szczepanski.

Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2016 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Hank Messing. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. The Knights Of Columbus bible presentation will take place at 4:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Toni and Trish House.
