Lucille M. Bracher

Lucille M. Bracher (aged 99) passed peacefully into heaven January 22, 2023.  For the past several years she was a resident of Close To Home Assisted Living, Bay City MI.  She was born November 04,1923 and was the daughter of Joseph & Edwidge (Woods) Fortin- Predeceased by her only sibling Jean Duquette 2009.
Lucille was united in marriage for 64 years to John F. Bracher Jr. who passed in 2012.  Her entire life was filled with love for her husband, sons, extended family, and friends. She especially enjoyed friend and family gatherings, traveling, winters in Florida, spending times with her sister, and all the concerts/fireworks in the park.  Just being around her would always bring on a smile and feeling of being loved.
Family left to cherish Lucille's memory are her three sons Michael (Barbara) Bracher, David (Lou) Bracher, Brian Bracher. Her grandchildren Jennifer (Shawn) Teheri, Rachel (Joseph) Cappola, Elissa Bracher, Nathan Bracher, Andrew Hoffman. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff at Close To Home for all the great care and compassion shown to our mother.
Funeral Service will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Gephart Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Gephart Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. There will be no luncheon following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to Close To Home Assisted Living.
