Margie L. Dayhuff

Margie passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 with her family by her side at the age of 92 years. Margie was born August 18, 1927 in Coal City, Indiana to the late John and Mary Pearl (Mishler) Steiner. Margie was a devout Christian, who loved the Lord. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, genealogy, loved books and reading, and was a tennis enthusiast.

Margie, loving mother to three children, Dara Kellso and her husband Jim, Marla Meier and her husband Bruce and Barry Dayhuff;  beloved grandma to thirteen grandchildren Ashley, Brandon, Kimberly, Matthew, Joshua, Zoe, Peter, Michelle, Zachary, Joel, Maia, Rachael, and Ariana;  twenty-three great grandchildren and two sister-in-laws, Laverne and Nancy. In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Dayhuff.

Per Margie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to McLaren Bay Hospice.
