Marian J. Gregory

Marian passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2023 at the age of 93. The daughter of the late Carl and Ida (Loehne) Pressler was born December 30, 1930 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Marian was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years; she was a member of the Junior Women’s Club and the Bay Chorale. Marian was the matriarch of the family and was very involved with her husband’s construction business. The family moved many times but wherever they lived she made it home. Most of all Marian was known as “Granny” by all of her family and others that loved her.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Cindy Gregory; son, Larry Gregory; daughter-in-law, Nitsa Gregory; grandchildren, Andy, Billy, Cody (Lisa) and Keely Brennan, Liz Gregory, Bronson and Esme Gregory; great grandchildren, Sean Brennan, Finley and Fiona Brennan and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Gregory; son, David Gregory, sister, Helen Sovey; brother, Elmer Pressler and family members, Nancy Gregory and Tim Brennan.

Memorial service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Pastor Brenna Overland. Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for First Presbyterian Church will be available at the church.
