Marian E. Holtzapple "Toni"

Marian passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at New Hope Bay at the age of 95 years. She was born in Bay City on October 10, 1925 to the late Elmer and Vera (Myers) Geiersbach. On September 4, 1943 she married William "Bud" Holtzapple and he passed away on November 27, 2014 after 71 years of marriage. Toni was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and in her younger years she worked for Sears and Roebuck Company. Toni then went on to own and operate Showcase Jewelry and B & T Rock Shop which is now Quality Jewelers. She also was involved with the Bay Antique Center for 20 years where she had 5 booths and taught at Delta College with her husband.


Toni is survived by her sons, William (Chong Cha) Holtzapple and Robert (Judy Sayles) Holtzapple; grandchildren, Kristene (Matt) Kiely, Karina; step-grandchildren, Duane Mitchell, Mary (Ron) Beaton and Jamie (Sonny) Earls; great-grandchildren, Kiara, Riana, Jesse, Cooper; step-great grandchildren, Connor, Colin and Brandon; sister, Helen Thompson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Geiersbach and brother-in-law, Jerry Thompson.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin Jones with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
