Marian G. Schmidt (Berger)

Marian G. Schmidt, formerly of Saginaw, passed away on March 7, 2012, age 89. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mary Berger. Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her husband of 69 years, Russell O. Schmidt and their daughter, Shelby Bailey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Russ Spann and his wife Stephanie, Dana Holladay and her husband Jeff, Brady Spann, and a great-granddaughter, Sloan Holladay. Mrs. Schmidt was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Monday March 12, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Paul D. Theiss with interment following in the St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00pm. Mrs. Schmidt will lie instate at the church on Monday from 10:00am until time of service.
