Marilyn passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late James and Gladys (Schultz) Williams on August 23, 1929. Marilyn was a member for over 50 years at Westminster Presbyterian Church and was proud to say that she was the oldest member of the church. She was also a Deacon at the Church as well. She loved making wood crafts with her husband, Gale, he would carve the pieces and she would paint them. She also liked to make jewelry with her step-dad. Marilyn worked for the Bay Arenac skill center for over 10 years. She took such wonderful care of the grandchildren and great grandchildren, and kids in her neighborhood and loved them all so much.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Priscilla (Craig) Cramer, Mark Lewis and David Lewis; grandchildren, Meghan Cramer, Ryan (Melissa) Schmidt, Jennifer Schmidt, Jayce Lewis and Travis (Nastassja) Lewis; great grandchildren, Izaiah, Maddox, Camila, Audrey, Katherine and Owen Schmidt and cousin, Helen (Dave) Faul. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Gale Lewis.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Lynn, Debbie and Tammy for taking such wonderful care of Marilyn.
Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Linda Williams and Rev. Jamie Milton. The family will be present to receive visitors on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
