Marilyn S. Morales

Marilyn passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Sheffield Bay in Bay City Michigan at the age of 81. She was born on January 4, 1940 in Morenci, Michigan to the late George and Gladys (Smith) Zeigler. Marilyn was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She attended undergrad school at Michigan State, and went on to receive her Master's degree from the University of Maryland. She taught in the Bay City Public Schools for over 30 years and prepared taxes for over 20 years. Marilyn enjoyed sewing and quilting and loved spending time with her friends and family. She wished to be remembered for her charitable works making blankets for single mothers as well as contributing her tools and supplies to future quilters.
Marilyn leaves behind her son, Robert (Pauline) Morales; sister, Jeanette Dewey; brother, Galen Zeigler and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of Marilyn, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date, with a private interment at Wauseon Union Cemetery in Wauseon, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Wellspring Lutheran Services.
