Marilyn A. Smith

Marilyn A. Smith of Bay City passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the age of 91.

She is survived by her life partner of 43 years, David Tervalon; sons, Martin (Tina) Smith, (late) Brian (Jan & Marlene) Smith and Dean Smith; daughters, Joanne (Rodger) Rooney and Patricia Moore; sister-in-law, Carol Martin; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelmina and Stanley Martin; brother, Jim Martin and sisters, Loretta Windquest, Delores Dowling and Gail Krohn.

In honoring the wishes of Marilyn, cremation has taken place a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
