Marjorie T. Blomshield

Marjorie passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center at the age of 82 years. She was born in Escanaba, Michigan on May 9, 1940 to the late Victor and Eva (Rousseau) Groth. She married Allan J. Blomshield on December 2, 1972 and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2015 after 42 years of marriage. Marjorie spent many years counting votes for the election and enjoyed being a homemaker. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Lynn (Steve Meyer) Madison, John Armbruster, Doug (Becky) Armbruster and Mark (Amber Johnson) Blomshield; grandchildren, Brian Jr. (Jessica) Madison, Brittany Madison-Leake and Jenna Blomshield; great grandchildren, Brian Madison III, Addilyn Madison-Leake and Griffin Madison-Leake; sister, Kathleen (Walt) Webb and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Associations.
