Mark Joseph Brunell

Mark passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 46. He was born in Warren, Michigan on November 7, 1977 to Joseph Brunell and Janet (Bollman) Sutton. At an early age Mark was involved in a car accident that resulted in him losing his left leg. Despite the challenges that it brought to him throughout his life, he was very grateful and would always say he felt blessed, even for the little things. He lived a very simple life and just loved life in general. He loved animals, but bunnies were his favorite. He also loved sports, motorcycles and watching movies, particularly comedies. He was such a good son and will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Mark is survived by his mother, Janet (Ron) Sutton; sister, Jennifer (Selim) Bouab; brother, David Brunell; niece, Anevay; nephews, Matthew, Acelan and Axel and great niece, Crystella. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Brunell and sister-in-law, Crystal Brunell.

At the wishes of Mark, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Church of the Nazarene. Officiating will be Pastor Dwight Kingsbury. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the Jordan Thomas Foundation,, as having a prosthetic leg was such a huge part of Marks life and shaped him into the man he was.
