Mary Frances Caauwe

Ms. Caauwe passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. Age 68 years. The daughter of the late John and Erma (Winstrom) Caauwe was born June 21, 1949 in Holland, Michigan. Ms. Caauwe was a devoted and loving mother, she belonged to the Bay County 4H, enjoyed going on long car rides, loved animals, especially her birds and was always willing to lend a helping hand and opened her home and heart to her sons friends.

Ms. Caauwe is survived by one son, Thomas Patrick Caauwe; special children, Tisha Liegel and Gregory Rice; brother-in-law, Donald Chute Jr. and her baby birds, Squeaker, Spike and Jo. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Bossler from Illinois and Edith Chute from Linwood.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Temple with private interment in Beaver Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
