Mary Jo Frank

Mary Jo passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 62. She was born on August 7, 1961 to Jared and Norberta (Van Tol) Frank in Bay City, Michigan. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and enjoyed family get togethers. She loved her dog, Kloie, she was her entire world. She worked as a nurses aid for many years and loved taking care of the elderly. She liked playing cards, dice, pool, bartending and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed cleaning and keeping her yard well maintained. She was very caring and so funny, she would light up the room with her jokes.

Mary Jo is survived by her children, Joshua Gonzales (Ashley), Justin Gonzales, Chelsea Kimmel and Kendra Hartfelder; grandchildren, Kaylee, Austin, Sophia, Penelope, Brooklynn, Cole, Allie, Selena, Enzo, Liliana and Raul; mother, Norberta Frank and friend, Bill; sisters, Lori (Craig) Wiles and Shelly Frank; Godmother, Jane Badour; special niece, Nicole Frank, Ashley Martin and nephew, Austin Wiles; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jared Frank; brother, Patrick Frank and grandparents, Norbert and Ruth Van Tol.

In honoring the wishes of Mary Jo, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at DeFoe Park (209 E Hart St, Bay City, MI 48706). A private inurnment will take place on Friday, August 9, 2024 at St. Patrick's Cemetery in the Guardian of Angels section, Lot Q/20. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
