Mary F. Jedele

Mrs. Jedele passed away Friday morning, April 30, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late George and Bernice (Bammel) Bauml was born June 15, 1920 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild. Mrs. Jedele retired from Consumers Energy Co. She enjoyed reading, nature especially birds, swimming at the Y, crocheting and traveling. She is survived by her children; Barbara (Ronald) Evans of Bay City, Joan Jedele (Jack Rueckheim) Freeville, NY, and Robert (Jamie) Jedele Greencastle, IN., her grandchildren; Kelly (Robert) Shenton, Jill (Chuck) Smith, Steve (Gigi Buffington) Rachel (her fiancée; Lee Ficker) Evans, Leah (Wataru) Takahashi, Joshua Rueckheim, Heather (Jeff) Miller, Paul (Kara) Jedele, Tim Jedele and Mark Jedel, great grandchildren; Allison, Hannah, Skyelar, Landon, Lydia and Sora, two sisters; Shirley (Glenn) Lesperance and Shirley Trapp, one brother-in-law; Jerry Kukla and Joyce Bauml. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; William F. Jedele, her sister; Pat Kukla, one brother; Jack Bauml and her brother-in-law; Jerry Trapp. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Richard D. Starr with private interment in Silver Lawn Cemetery in Sebewaing. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Jedele will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 125th Anniversary Landscaping Memorial Fund or the Donor's Favorite Charity will be available at the funeral home.
