Mary Ann Pennell

Mary passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 77 years. She was born in Bay City on October 21, 1944 to the late Harry and Clara (Wegener) Kuch. Mary attended church at Immanuel Lutheran Church for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cross stitching, puzzles and traveling with her sisters. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children, Norm (Lisa), Mark (Sharon), Terrance Jr., Candace, Daniel (Amanda), Robert, Michael, Sarah (Fred Vanharren) and Adam (Traci Robinson) Pennell; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandson; sisters, Nancy LaDrig, Joyce (Greg) Thacker, Jeanne (Larry) Goedecke and Joan (Donald) Williams; brothers-in-law, Timothy Pennell and Eugene Niedzwiecki. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Terrance Pennell and brothers, Bill and David Kuch.
At the request of Mary, cremation has taken place, a memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Officiating will be Doug Lewis. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
