Mary Lou Rowell

Mary passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 76 after battling a long illness. Born June 2, 1946 in Bay City, Michigan, Mary was the youngest daughter of the late Arthur and Stella (Bigda) Rowell. Mary was a dedicated employee for many years at the Carquest auto parts warehouse and the shoe department at Younker's department store. She enjoyed travel, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, Mary enjoyed spending time and making memories with her grandchildren on their adventures together.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Paul) Mabbitt; two grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan Mabbitt, two brothers, a sister, many cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society or their favorite charity in Mary's name.
