Mary I. VanGuilder

Mary VanGuilder daughter of the late Frank and Mary Motko was born March 31, 1930 in Bay City and resided here all her life. In 1950 she married William VanGuilder who preceded her in death in 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary enjoyed bowling, bingo, casinos and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her daughters and son, Jean (Mark) Bartlett, Linda (Terry) Prior, Sue Mueller and Robert (Jackie) VanGuilder; grandchildren; great grandchildren and a great great grand baby on the way; sisters and brother, Francis Pudvan, Eugene Motko and Bev (John) Sullivan; special cousin, Nancy Bahm and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sons, William Jr. and Mark VanGuilder and grandson, Kody VanGuilder.
A service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Floral Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 2215 West Cass Avenue, Bay City, Michigan 48708. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing face coverings must be worn. In lieu of flowers those planning and expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to Brian's House or the wishes of the family.
