MaryAlice Sermon

Mrs. Sermon, age 75 years, passed away April 17, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Harry Richard and Alice Shumaker, MaryAlice was born October 19, 1940 in Fostoria, Ohio. In 1948, the family relocated to Bay City, where she resided most of her life She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, her children, friends and especially her grandchildren. Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Thomas Sermon Sr.; her children, Kimberly Lee Brandmair; Mary Kristen Brandmair; Michael Richard (Jamie) Brandmair; Robert Thomas (Jill) Sermon Jr.; seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Lois Ziegler; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sermon; brother-in-law, Wilbur (Leona) Brandmair; and several beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Lee Brandmair, daughter Jennifer Lynn Brandmair; parents-in-laws Joseph and Doris Sermon and Ralph and Ruth Brandmair; brother-in-law Thomas Ziegler, sister-in-law Madeline and Donald Webster. At the request of Mrs. Sermon Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church 4267 Two Mile Rd., Bay City, Michigan 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Temple. The family will be present at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
