MaryAnn Young

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Niche Aging Center of Bay City with her family by her side at the age of 89. She was born to the late Wilbur and Anna (Gerard) Revette on July 18, 1933 in Bay City, Michigan. MaryAnn was a devoted catholic who was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish for many years. She enjoyed going to the casino, cooking, gardening, road trips with her brother and sister-in-law, riding bikes with her husband, listening to music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

MaryAnn is survived by her five children, Susan (Loren) Roth, Bethany Young and her partner, Don Williams, Nadine (Dudly) Krueger, Cindy (Joe) Norton and Kimberly (Roger) Rikard; eight grandchildren, Heather (Neil) Demosthenous, Rhonda (Robert) Hassler, Melissa (J.R.) Taylor, Elizabeth Glenn, Brandon Young, Nicole (Emory) Hurston, Tina (Gilbert) Varela and Krystle (Todd) Murray; twenty-five great grandchildren and one sibling, Joan Schultz. In addition to her parents, MaryAnn is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard Young, who passed away on December 7, 1998; grandchild, April Roth; eight brothers and sisters, Frank, Darrell, Lyle, Jack, Mike, Ronnie, Harriett and Leone.

The family would like to extend a special thank you, to the Niche Aging Center of Bay City for the care that they provided MaryAnn.

Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish with Entombment following at Calvary Cemetery. Celebrant will be Rev Fr. John Sarge. The family will be present to receive visitors at Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Niche Aging Center of Bay City or to The Alzheimer's Association.
