Our Angel, Meagan Rochelle (Elwood) Pease of Bay City, went with her unfailing faith to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, age 28 years. She was born on December 13, 1986 in Bay City. Meagan graduated from Garber High School in 2005. Following high school she worked at KFC on Euclid Ave. Meagan loved children and was currently the lead teacher at Days of Discovery Day Care. She has also been a babysitter for two very special families. Meagan loved animals, especially her pets and horses. She enjoyed baking for family and friends, especially during Christmas. Meagan was a devoted member of the Victory Life Worship Center in Bay City. A woman of strong faith, she taught everyone of God's great love and the gift of forgiveness. On December 18, 2009 Meagan was united in marriage to the love of her life, Alan C. Pease and he survives her passing. Meagan will be deeply missed by her loving family. She is also survived by her son, Marty Leddy and her baby dog, Jersey; her parents, David and Lori (Terwilliger) Elwood; two sisters, Kayla (Jason) Claeys and Sara Lauria; two brothers, Greg and Aarron Buzzard; her mother-in-law, Eva Pease; her grandparents, Viola Elwood and Paul and Virgilee Thomas; a great-grandmother, Virginia Lutz; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Melissa (Jamie) Scherf; her nieces and a nephew, Abby, Jacob, Haley and Stephanie; special friends, Ed and Pam Ekkens, Tami and Betty Forcade and Angie Bland; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Meagan was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Billie J. Elwood and Gerald Terwilliger; and her father-in-law, Frederick J. Pease. It was Meagan's desire for cremation to take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Redeeming Love Christian Embassy, 3051 Kiesel Road, Bay City, 48706. The Celebrant will be Pastor Ronald J. Quigley. Meagan's family will greet friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Alan C. Pease to establish a community foundation in Meagan's name.
