Michael Grusecki, 66, of Bay City, passed away on May 8, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center Harrison in Saginaw, MI.
Mr. Grusecki was born April 19, 1955, in Bay City, MI., to Walter and Veronica (Coupie) Grusecki.
Michael graduated John Glenn Highschool in 1973. He loved all aspects of sports; from playing, coaching his children's teams, to refereeing various sports in his later years. Michael looked forward to the golf outings with his son, brothers, and nephews every two years.
Michael was the fourth oldest out of seven siblings. He grew up in the masonry industry working for his father like many of his brothers had. He would eventually carry on the trade with a business of this own for 30 years. He semi-retired and went to work for the City of Bay City. Michael retired from work in 2016.
He is survived by his three children Amanda (Grusecki) and William Parish of Orlando, FL, Aaron Grusecki of Garden City, MI., Samantha Grusecki of Orlando FL, and their mother Doralyn Grusecki; his mother Veronica (Coupie) Grusecki of Bay City; Several brothers and a sister, along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews; and his special friend Joanna Miller.
He was preceded by death of his father, Walter Grusecki and his sister-in-law Kathy Grusecki.
The family will be present on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, located on 201 W. Midland St., Bay City, MI 48706. A time of sharing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan.
