Michael R. Hill

Mr. Hill passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 79. The son of the late Albert and Helen (Dean) Hill was born July 13, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan. Michael served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. Michael loved playing board games and cards, being outdoors, gardening, bowling, putt putt golf and his animals.
Mr. Hill is survived by his three daughters, Michelle McConnaughey and her significant other, Kevin, Rebecca Cameron and Theresa (Dana) Kowalski; four grandchildren, Carrie Hill, Anthony Moore, Emily Barkell and Austin Barkell; great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Inda and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Hill; sister-in-law, Susan Hill and his brother-in-law, John Inda.
At the request of Mr. Hill cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
